You are invited to our free Deck Building Workshop. This April 6th and 13th From 10:00 am to 1:00 pm J&W Lumber is teaming up with one of San Diego’s finest Contractors for our first ever Deck Building Workshop. Whether you are a first time DIY-er or a seasoned project vet this class is going to have something for everyone – including free food and drinks.
In our second ever workshop we are offering a hands on crash course covering everything you need to know about the installation and assembly of an outdoor deck. This workshop will include actually building a deck to code using one of our most requested decking materials –Trex. We are going to be walking the class through everything step by step — From the basics of building a proper under-structure to the nuances of hidden clips, deck railing and counter sinking screws and everything in between. We want to make sure you walk away feeling empowered and ready to tackle your next big outdoor building project.
Everyone who attends the free workshop will be receiving a voucher for free hidden fasteners for any size deck you choose to build with us. Potentially hundreds of dollars in value, FREE.
